EL INTELECTOAGENTE SEGÚNJOANNE GABRIELE BOYVIN(S.XVm) JUAN FERNANDO SELLÉS Universidad de Navarra En este trabajo se estudia el parecer de Juan Gabriele Boyvin (s. XVIII) sobre el intelecto agente. Su influjo escotista es neto: el intelecto agente existe en el hombre; se distingue sólo formalmente del posible; concurre con el objeto real para formar la especie inteligible; no activa al intelecto posible. No es cognoscitivo; se da en el alma separada y produce las especies y las imprime en el posible. Sus tesis más novedosas e interesantes son: puede producir de modo indirecto especies inteligibles de las realidades inmateriales; su abstraer de los fantasmas es efecto del pecado original. PALABRAS CLAVE: Juan Gabriel Boyvin, intelecto agente, escotista, tesis novedosas. In this paper we study the theory of Joanne Gabriele Boyvin (XVIIIth cen­ tury) about the agent intellect. His scotist influence is clear: the agent intellect exist in the man; it is distinguished only Jormaliter 3 from the possible intellect; works with the real object to form the intelligible species; do not activates the possible intellect. Boyvin affirm also that the agent intellect do not know; that exist in the separated soul, and that produces the species and impress them in the possible intellect. But defends some new and interesting thesis: can pro­ duce indirectly intelligible species of the immaterial realities; its abstraction is fruit of the original sin.
