Su filosofía ha suscitado reacciones dispares que se han sustantivado en polémicas y disputas que han enriquecido la historia de la filosofía. En el ámbito del la historia de la filosofía española y en plena revitalización de la escolástica, la polémica entre Fr. Zefe- rino González O.P. y Fr. Querubín de Carcagente OFM.Cap. supone un ejemplo de la lectura filosófica de Escoto, un filósofo que desde la escolástica proyecta su pensamiento a la modernidad. Recordamos en este artículo la polémica entre ambos autores y el contexto en el que se desarrolló. In the area of the history of the Spanish philoso- phy and in full resurrection of the Scholastic thought, the polemic between Fr. Zeferino Gonzalez O.P. and Fr. Querubín de Carcagente OFM.Cap., supposes an example of the philosophical reading of Scotus, a philosopher who from the Scholastic, projects his thought to the modernity. We remember in this paper the polemic between both authors and the context in the one that developed.
