Nuestra intención era, sobre todo, llamar la atención sobre una serie de datos que, no obstante la problemática que com- portan, hacen pensar seriamente que la RegC tuvo un proceso de redacción mucho más largo del que ordinariamente se cree. F ERNANDO U RIBE , OFM Pontificio Ateneo Antonianum, Roma ABSTRACT Within the long and intricate historico-juridical process which accompanied the birth of the Rule of St. Clare of Assisi, officially entitled Forma Vitae Sororum Pauperum , there was also a long process of redaction, not always kept in mind by contemporary scholars. The majority take it for granted that the rule written by Clare of Assisi was composed in the last four or five years of her life, ignoring the clear signs which indicate a much longer period of redaction.
