arte, como la figura desde el espejo, hablándote a ti, tangible para ti, distinta a tu juzgar de siempre, a tu juicio dudoso, que ahora ya se hacía así de distinto, muy posiblemente ya certero, y salí de la Catedral; las nubes también decían de la bondad divina. Creo que para poder recibir haya primero que vaciarse de uno mismo. Creo también que sea necesario un tiempo de trabajo y de mucha insistencia por el arte para que este encuentro se haga en el espectador. El esfuerzo del artista religioso, sus lágrimas por esta creativi- dad, creo que tienen algún parecido con el comportamiento del hombre místico, que, cuanto más se ahonda en el ser individual, por llegar a su origen, se percibe ya un encuentro con la misma divini- dad: como si belleza, verdad, bondad, fueran ya a ser una misma realidad. A NTONIO O TEIZA , OFMCap Salamanca ABSTRACT This article offers some reflections on evangelical art, abstract sculpture in public places and perception in art. They are intuitions consistent with artistic experience in these topics. Importance is given to the transcendental nature of the gospel and its assumption of all the spiritual values, the freedom of the artist and, at the same time, his dependence on the spirit. Likewise, the characteristics which a public sculpture should embody in order to speak to the spectator are also presented. Finally, from his own artistic experience the author reflects on the Ages of Man art exhibition in the cathedral of Segovia, especially those pieces which belong to the 15 th century gothic period.
