ABSTRACT Can we speak of kairovı in Heidegger in the sense in which Greek authors or New Testament authors used it? Heidegger says almost nothing about the kairovı . He mentions it in some commentaries on the writings of St. Paul. But in these cases kairovı has a very poor meaning, in relation to Paul and other New Testament writers. He also mentions it as the human time of Dasein. But he does so in an ontological and abstract sense, totally different from the usage of the Greek authors. In Being and Time there is a series of concepts which could be related to that of kairovı ; but here also the context is completely ontological and different from that of the Greeks. And the context of Ereignis is also equally ontological and totally alien to what tradition has understood as kairovı . FILOSOFÍA HEIDEGGERIANA Y kairovı 461
