The college is under the joint direction of the general Minister and the general Definitory, who appoint a rector, a vice rector, a prefect of studies, a spiritual director, an oeconomus and the lectors 45 • The college is primarily meant for those young friars with a missionary aptitude. It was, moreover, specified that one of the requirements to be a missionary is to have spent a minimum of one year in the college.
