Gentlemen, I have received the case of hats this morning, consigned by you on the 5th inst, hut, upon opening it, I have found that none of the quantities, sizes, and shapes corresponds with your invoice of that date. You have evidently sent me the wrong goods, and, as I am in an urgent want of the goods in question, this delay is very inconvenient and annoying for me, None of the lines in the case is of any use to me, and I keep the same at your disposal, and await your reply. Please wire to me, on receipt of this, when I may expect the correct goods, and as I am in a very, awkward position through this carelessness, I ask you to see the way of sen– ding the order by return of post.
