476 BENEDICT VADAKKEKARA DOCUMENTIII8 [Reverendissi]mo P.[atri] Generali Ord.[inis] Carmel[itarum] Excalc.[eatorum] 9 • Reverendissime Pater! 8 AGCarm, Gran Mogu/268-e. 9 Fr Natalis of St Anne was the Carmelite General then in office. 10 The names made mention of in this letter are the Carmelite Fathers then in Bombay: Joseph Mary of St Theresa Lopez (1815-1879); Cyril of the Annunciation (1805-1884); John Chrysostom of St Joseph (from Tuscany) (1838-1884); Andrew of Jesus Mary (from Bor– deaux) (1821-1860), Irenaeus of St Theresa (1817-1868). The other names have already been referred to above. Mgr Bernardine of St Theresa Baccinelli (1807-1868) was auxiliary to ap– ostolic vicar of Verapoly and later succeeded him in office.
