Cultural models to understand saint Paul Abstract The work presents an exercise in the use of cultural models to understand some Paul´s texts. The author, regarding the body model in the cultural anthropology explores the way in which Paul uses this model to show the construction of the Church, and concludes that Saint Paul probably used cultu- ral models to construct a theological structure that was relevant and sure on its environment, which is essential to distinguish the difference between the essential characteristics of Church and those that are cultural, therefore able to be adapted and renovated, showing that the theology, in especial the ecclesio- logy is enriched by this perspective.
