Las traducciones españolas del Catechisme Historique de Claude Fleury (1640-1723): una breve introducción histórico-crítica Hugo Marquant Institut Libre Marie Haps (Bruselas) Recibido: 30/05/2016 Aceptado: 30/09/2016 Resumen En la presente contribución el autor aborda el tema de las traducciones espa- ñolas del Catéchisme historique (1683) del historiador eclesiástico y abate fran- cés Claude Fleury (1640-1723) desde un ángulo primariamente histórico-crítico. Después de una breve reflexión léxico-terminológica sobre el concepto de «cate- cismo (histórico)» el autor nos ofrece una breve introducción a la vida y obra de Fleury, la intervención de la Congregación del Indice, la difusión internacional del Catecismo , el corpus de las traducciones y el análisis de un ejemplo concreto de problema traductológico. Abstract In this paper the author intends to present an overview of the spanish translations of Claude Fleury’s (1640-1723) Catéchisme historique (1683) primarily from a historical/critical perspective. After a brief lexical and terminological reflection on the concept of «catecismo (histórico)», the article offers a brief introduction into the life/work of Claude Fleury, the intervention of the Congregation of the Index, the international spreading of the CH, the corpus of the translations and the analysis of a specific translation related problem.
